Hi I was born Summer Dawn and believe we whisper our names to our parents as we float around the cosmos in moon cycles with our Momma. I am also known as Tigress Magnolia and you can call me whichever resonates. I am a multi-passionate human with an exquisite myriad of experience to help you heal. I enjoy helping people move with confidence, self-reliance, intuition, spiritual wisdom, and fun. I offer that in endless colors based on my life experiences as an actress, writer, producer, spiritual guide, shaman, musician, painter, caretaker, massage therapist, yoga teacher, eurythmy guide, dance enthusiast, anatomy & pain specialist.

I find that there is a constant listening involved in healing and creative arts. I often receive answers to client predicaments, and artistic mazes during meditation and movement- a vision or voice will come along the stream of stars and then I ask client or hold intention alongside the immediate needs a client or art piece will have with a bigger vision of the karmic goal of a person’s health.

My work is a continuous dance of helping you discover ease of physical pain, new ways of moving for self empowerment, and a deepening of your own spiritual insights based on your cosmic signature in what your multi- tiered purpose is in this incarnation.

I wrote a few potent things below and if you have questions please feel free to click the ‘Contact’ button and let me know what’s on your mind and in your heart.

I want to emphasize that my offerings are conducted with a deep tap root in wisdom and technique and the way the stem and leaves come up from that root is in connection and communication with your unique star imprint and earthly needs. The blossoms are your experiences of release, transformation, gained wisdom. All sessions are unique and based on your overall needs next to current states of being.

I believe healthcare is not a cookie cutter approach of me having a system I turn people thru but an ability to create unique space and dynamics to address your one and only body, soul, and spirit. It is an ongoing conversation with twists, turns, care and ability to meet those instead of a deadline series of treatments.

20 people could arrive for treatment of an ankle sprain on the same side of body from the same sidewalk and I have found that each person’s body will respond to treatment differently because of previous life experience, current movement patterns, stress patterns etc

I strive to meet you as a spirit wise individual and evoke your own innate healing through archetypes of massage, movement, meditation but also your own self trust by teaching you techniques of how to listen to your body response and safe experimentation with anatomical wisdom of body and spirit.

Astrological Astrosophy Connections are about helping you discover not only your Earthly archetype in Tropical Houses as far as some of your basic personality and life events will make clear but in guiding you more deeply with your Epoch chart and Heliocentric Similars. I have been studying the stars since I was 10 when I would sneak in my Mom’s room to devour her Linda GoodMan books and Louise Hay! I have been studying astrosophy and cosmic anatomy since 2004. In the same manner that my bodywork goes beyond material conceptions of Western Medicine so too does my starwork. I believe we can discover not just the surface levels of our own needs but a true stream of how we are here to help the evolution of humanity in our relationship to the planets, constellations, and beloved departed. Understanding both Tropical and Sidereal placements will give you an expansive light to shine on your biography and spiritual heartsongs. I am here to help you navigate the sea of cosmos so that you can swim between the microcosm of your self and the macrocosm of universe with more ease and confidence.

These starry realms imbue our physical bodies with music, codes, healing every single breath we take!

I look forward to our connection.

Lovingly,

Tigress

TIMELINE

  • Born during a massive tornado in Kansas May 29, 1980- I do often feel I came straight from Oz! My life was full of creative beauty and intrigue in Kansas City, Missouri and alternative folk healing and meditations in nature with animals and water spirits in the Almon Valley, Missouri. (a very very small village in the Ozarks)

I spent about 6 months of the year painting, performing, costume creating, dancing, antique prop shopping and a kazillion other things that go with being in the theatre that my Mom and Gramie created. The other 6 months were spent in the deep woods learning herbalism, nutrition, kinesiology, iridology and spending massive amounts of time alone in the woods by the cave and rivers.

I began recognizing my abilities with spirit realms at the age of 6 or so as I held burial ceremonies for dead animals, started having vivid lucid dreams, could sense animal thoughts, and had visions of the departed.

Many people don’t understand how deeply connected my acting experience is with my healing but it is a deep root of observing, sensing other character traits and needs and sensing gesture and movement and speech in the body and the beings behind that.

I studied art and biology and geometry in high school and in March of 2000; moved to Portland Oregon sight unseen after a first year of college studying art and theatre at Truman State University.

  • After moving to Portland, Oregon I continued in my polymath style going to Portland State University studying music, theatre, literature, creative writing and art. I worked as a server, bartender, barista, office manager, actor, pharmacy technician teaching pharmacists and doctors hormonal compounding techniques, floral arrangement, wellness manager at health food markets.

I discovered Anthroposophy in 2004 when I traveled to Wales to do an acting intensive workshop on a biodynamic farm and then went to London, Paris, and the Goetheanum in Dornach doing Eurythmy in German that Summer.

Having fell in love with Yoga at 13 and always in love with being a dancer, I also fell in love with Eurythmy as a curative and performing art.

I finished my Liberal Arts degree from PSU in 2007. I began massage healing school at East West College in 2008.

In 2010, I traveled back to London for theatre and to Stockholm for theatre and found a brochure about Rhythmical Massage Therapy developed by Dr. Ita Wegman and Dr. Margarethe Hauschka.

I continued to do massage therapy, shamanic drumming ceremonies and painting in Portland when home from that trip.

In 2014, I discovered there was to be a once in a lifetime 3 year masters program for RMT at Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks and one of my favorite eurythmists, friends would be one of the teachers(Margaret Kerndt)

  • My 3 year Masters of Anthroposophical Medicine for Rhythmical Massage Therapy lasted through May 2017 and included medicinal therapy and astrosophy and embryology and came very natural to me. I have been practicing this beautiful form of healing since then in spas, chiropractic offices, medical and acupuncture clinics alongside continued striving in my artistic endeavors with painting, theatre, music, writing, astrosophy/astrology.
